Gallagher named Global Elite Partner by Convergint

Fri, 9th Jan 2026

Gallagher Security has been named a Global Elite Partner by Convergint, deepening the relationship between the New Zealand-headquartered security manufacturer and the US-based security systems integrator.

The new status places Gallagher among a small group of companies that Convergint has selected for closer strategic alignment. Convergint works with security technology vendors around the world and ranks among the largest security systems integrators by revenue.

Gallagher supplies integrated access control, intrusion detection and perimeter security products, and has expanded its presence in multiple regions in recent years. Convergint provides design, implementation, integration, management and service for security and safety systems and operates more than 200 locations worldwide.

Strategic alignment

The Global Elite Partner programme sits at the top tier of Convergint's partner framework. The company uses it to formalise joint planning with selected technology providers and to create shared structures for innovation, technical expertise and customer support.

Under the expanded agreement, Gallagher and Convergint will align their strategies at a global level. The two companies will concentrate on joint initiatives. They plan to improve operational efficiency for shared customers. They also intend to simplify project delivery in markets where both firms are active.

Both companies also expect the partnership to support customer adoption of newer security and safety products across sectors such as critical infrastructure, government and healthcare. They plan to present a unified route for organisations that want integrated physical security and related services across multiple sites.

Existing relationship

Gallagher and Convergint first formalised their partnership in 2019. Since then, they have worked together on installations in education, healthcare, government and critical infrastructure. These projects have combined Gallagher's security platforms with Convergint's integration and lifecycle service operations.

The Global Elite Partner designation gives Gallagher a higher profile within Convergint's ecosystem of suppliers. Both companies expect this to influence which technologies Convergint promotes and integrates in large multi-site or multi-country projects.

Mark Junge, Chief Executive of Gallagher Security, said the expanded status reflects a long-running relationship between the two groups.

"Our relationship with Convergint has always been built on trust and a shared dedication to protecting people and places," said Mark Junge, Chief Executive of Gallagher Security. "Becoming a Global Elite Partner reflects how far we've come together and how much potential lies ahead. By combining Gallagher's innovation and global expertise with Convergint's exceptional service, we're delivering real value to businesses worldwide."

Global footprint

Gallagher states that it operates in 140 countries and is present in sectors that include national and local government, military, commercial, industrial, healthcare, transport and education. Convergint has more than 11,000 staff and has been recognised for several years in industry rankings of security systems integrators.

Both companies have sought growth through large projects that cover multiple sites, often across borders. The closer alignment is expected to influence bids in markets where customers want standardised security systems with local service and support.

Convergint positions its Global Elite Partner tier as a way to work with suppliers that match its geographic spread and service expectations. Gallagher's inclusion in this tier suggests that Convergint expects to use its technology in a broader set of deployments.

Eric Yunag, Executive Vice President Products & Services of Convergint, said Gallagher's products will link with Convergint's existing reach.

"We are pleased to have Gallagher as a Global Elite Partner, said Eric Yunag, Executive Vice President Products & Services of Convergint. "Gallaghers technology, paired with Convergint's global scale, local expertise and deep vertical specialization, allows us to meet customers where they are and support them with unmatched service; a unified approach that delivers measurable value."

Partnership focus

Gallagher has stated that its strategy includes building long-term alliances with integrators and channel partners. The company views collaboration as a way to reach end customers in heavily regulated environments and in industries with complex security requirements.

The latest move signals Gallagher's intention to work more closely with a small number of large integration partners. It also indicates that Convergint will look to standardise and repeat deployments that use Gallagher technology.

Junge said the designation reflects a broader philosophy on alliances.

"We've always believed that great partnerships are built on shared purpose," Mark says. "This collaboration takes that principle to the next level, bringing our teams even closer together to deliver forward-looking solutions that redefine what's possible in security."
