Rapid7 launches PACT Partner Program in APJ region

Yesterday

Rapid7 has initiated the PACT Partner Program in the Australia, New Zealand, and Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, alongside promoting David Quist to Director of Channel Sales APJ.

The PACT Partner Program aims to provide partners within the region with resources, tools, and training to better address the complex and evolving security needs of today's global threat landscape. By involving resellers, distributors, systems integrators, and service providers, Rapid7 intends to enhance customer management of their attack surfaces through tailored engagement programs and specialisations.

The program includes a modernised Partner Portal designed to foster more profound engagement with partners and support real-time collaboration. It features self-service quote access, renewal dashboards, and various learning paths tailored to specific stages in the sales process and customer lifecycle.

Along with these enhancements, two new PACT specialisations—MSSP Specialisation and Service Delivery Specialisation—are being introduced to provide partners with a broader suite of technological resources and operational efficiencies.

An All-New Partner Training Academy is also part of the program. This academy aims to provide partners with practical skills and technical knowledge to improve customer value, offering courses catered to both sales and technical roles, as well as specialised curriculums for partners to deliver their post-sales services.

Rob Dooley, APJ Vice President and General Manager at Rapid7, emphasised the importance of the program, stating, "Our new PACT Program is the result of listening to and working collaboratively with our partner community to best understand their business challenges and opportunities. This significant program update ensures our partners are enabled and supported to drive maximum impact in line with their near- and long-term business objectives."

Tim Sank, Sales Director at Cythera, highlighted the significance of the partnership by saying, "Over the past six years, our partnership with Rapid7 has been a cornerstone of how we deliver world-class managed security services. Our recent merger with Bastion Security Group has strengthened our ability to monitor, detect, and respond to threats, leveraging both our Rapid7 partnership and our in-house security experts located across Australia and New Zealand. The new Rapid7 PACT Partner Program further reinforces this collaboration, enabling us to enhance our proactive, human-led security operations."

In addition, David Quist has been promoted to Director of Channel Sales APJ. He has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector of Australia and New Zealand, having worked with companies such as Dimension Data, Symantec, and Nuix. Over the last six years, he has been part of the Rapid7 team in roles including Senior Manager, Southern Region Sales, ANZ.

Commenting on his new position, Quist stated, "Customers across the APJ region face a variety of significant cyber security challenges. For our partners, this threat landscape provides a multitude of growth opportunities, driven by the need for organisations to take command of their attack surface and defend against complex and sophisticated cyber threats. I'm looking forward to supporting that growth and ensuring our partners get the best out of our new PACT Program to ensure their continued success."
