Gallagher & M.C. Dean deepen global security pact

Wed, 18th Feb 2026

Gallagher Security has expanded its partnership with US systems integrator M.C. Dean under a new strategic solutions partner agreement. The move extends collaboration across multiple regions and targets more work in mission-critical environments.

The agreement formalises a relationship in place since 2016. The companies have worked together on security deployments in high-security facilities and complex infrastructure settings.

Gallagher supplies integrated access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security products. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains cyber-physical systems for large facilities and secure environments. The renewed arrangement covers M.C. Dean operations across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Security teams at critical sites are increasingly focused on the convergence of physical security and cyber risk. Operators also face requirements for resilience, lifecycle management, and consistent delivery across global estates. As a result, partnerships between product manufacturers and integrators have become a common approach for organisations running large, multi-site programmes.

Broader alignment

Gallagher described the agreement as an evolution of the existing partnership and positioned M.C. Dean as well suited to deployments where assurance requirements and operational constraints shape technology choices and delivery models.

Mark Junge, chief executive of Gallagher Security, called the announcement a next step in the relationship.

"Our partnership with M.C. Dean has always been grounded in trust, technical excellence, and a shared vision for what security can enable," said Mark Junge, Chief Executive, Gallagher Security.

He said the companies have worked together for nearly a decade and that the new agreement reflects mutual confidence.

"After nearly a decade of working side by side, this strategic evolution represents a natural next step. It reflects the confidence we have in each other and our shared commitment to delivering intelligent, resilient security solutions on a global scale," said Junge.

Gallagher linked the expanded arrangement to large-scale deployments in demanding environments, where integrators often handle installation, commissioning, and ongoing operational support.

Jeff Fields, director of federal programs - Americas at Gallagher Security, said the agreement reflects the work the companies already do in "high-consequence" settings.

"This agreement reinforces our confidence in the work we do together and the environments we support," said Jeff Fields, Director of Federal Programs - Americas, Gallagher Security.

He pointed to customer expectations around reliability and long-term performance in mission-driven deployments.

"M.C. Dean understands what it takes to deliver in high-consequence, mission-driven settings. This next phase of our partnership ensures we're even better aligned to support customers who demand reliability, security, and long-term performance," said Fields.

Integrator scale

M.C. Dean operates more than 30 offices worldwide and employs more than 9,000 people, according to the companies. It provides services across electrical, electronic security, telecommunications, life safety, automation and controls, audio visual, and IT systems, and is headquartered in Tysons, Virginia.

The agreement also reflects the role of large integrators in bringing multiple building and security systems under common operating models. In many programmes, integrators act as prime contractors for technology delivery and manage interfaces between physical security platforms and broader operational technology and IT estates.

Julaine Simmons, senior vice president of M.C. Dean's Security & Electronic Systems business unit, said formalising the partnership would deepen collaboration and alignment.

"Our relationship with Gallagher has grown steadily over the past decade, built on trust, technical rigor, and a shared commitment to protecting the world's most critical environments," said Julaine Simmons, Senior Vice President, M.C. Dean.

She said the move would shape how the companies work together on future security deployments.

"Formalizing this strategic partnership allows us to deepen our global collaboration, align more closely on innovation, and deliver next-generation security solutions that meet the scale, resilience, and assurance our customers require," said Simmons.

Gallagher operates in 140 countries across government, military, commercial and industrial sectors, as well as healthcare, transport and education. It positions its products around integrated security management, combining access control and alarm monitoring with perimeter detection and related functions.

The companies did not disclose financial terms, target sectors, or pipeline expectations. They also did not say whether the partnership includes joint development work or exclusive territory arrangements.

Work under the expanded agreement will span M.C. Dean's footprint across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, with both companies citing a focus on complex, mission-critical environments and long-term programmes.
