Fri, 6th Sep 2024

Seclore has announced the appointment of Darshan Masalia as its new Vice President of Product Engineering. With over two decades of experience in technology and product engineering, Masalia will spearhead Seclore's product engineering direction and development of advanced data protection solutions, while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Prior to joining Seclore, Masalia held the position of Vice President of Engineering for Asset and Patch Management at Qualys Security in Pune. His career also includes significant roles at BMC Software, where he not only managed and restructured product development processes but also led efforts in agile transformations. Furthermore, Masalia co-founded Brainbows & Whappi Workplaces, serving as Chief Technology Officer, guiding agile coaching and developing sophisticated e-commerce solutions.

Vishal Gupta, CEO of Seclore, expressed enthusiasm about the new appointment. "We are delighted to welcome Darshan Masalia to our team," Gupta said. "Darshan's extensive experience in engineering and product development are invaluable as we continue to evolve and enhance our security solutions. Adding someone with Darshan's leadership experience and expertise will be pivotal to the future of our product strategy."

Masalia's qualifications are bolstered by a range of industry awards and certifications, including SAFe 4 Practitioner, SAFe for Teams Course (4.6), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Commenting on his new role, Darshan Masalia said, "I am thrilled to join the Seclore team and to contribute to the mission of providing cutting-edge data-centric security solutions. I look forward to working with the talented Seclore team to advance our product engineering capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers."

The announcement also coincides with Seclore's significant expansion, both globally and within India, including the hiring for technical positions in the newly opened Pune office. This strategic growth aligns with the company's broader momentum, marked by achieving several accolades such as the Great Places to Work Award for the fifth consecutive year and the Cyber Defense Magazine's Global InfoSec Awards. The company's partner program also received a five-star rating from CRN, and there was a recent appointment of a new Chief Product Officer.

Darshan Masalia will be based in India as he takes on his new responsibilities at Seclore.
