Saviynt tops USD $300 million ARR with Zuma launch

Saviynt has passed USD $300 million in annual recurring revenue and launched Zuma, its AI identity security platform. New customer acquisitions grew by more than 80%.

The announcement pairs a financial milestone with a new product aimed at a fast-growing area of cyber risk as businesses deploy more AI agents and other non-human identities across their operations.

Bookings rose by more than 80%, and customer retention stood at 96%. Saviynt tied that growth to rising demand for identity security tools that address the spread of AI systems and machine-based accounts in corporate environments.

Zuma is designed to help companies discover, govern and secure AI identities in real time. It is aimed at AI agents, large language models, AI-based applications and other non-human identities that may access systems, data and applications without fitting neatly into older identity management processes.

According to Saviynt, Zuma has three parts: Zuma Insights, Zuma Access and Zuma Governance. The first focuses on discovery and visibility, the second on runtime controls, and the third on ownership, lifecycle controls, policy guardrails, access reviews and audit records.

Saviynt said Zuma Insights continuously discovers AI agents and related identities across an enterprise, showing who owns them, what they access and how they change over time. Zuma Access evaluates agent intent, context, permissions and risk during operation, while Zuma Governance is meant to assign accountability and address unmanaged or orphaned agents.

AI oversight

The launch reflects a broader shift in security priorities as companies seek ways to track and control automated software entities that can make decisions and interact with systems at speed. These can include internal AI assistants, workflow agents and application-linked machine identities created across different business units.

Traditional identity tools were built largely around human users, with established approval chains and periodic reviews. By contrast, AI agents and non-human identities can be created quickly, change frequently and operate in ways that are harder for security teams to monitor with conventional controls.

Customers have been asking basic operational questions about their AI estate, Saviynt said, including where AI agents are located, who created them, what they are doing, who oversees them and what access they have to data and applications. Zuma is positioned as a way to answer those questions within a single platform.

Chief Executive Officer Sachin Nayyar said the market is changing as identity security expands beyond people.

Customer view

Saviynt also included comments from a customer describing the challenge of extending existing identity processes to AI systems.

"Like many large enterprises, we are looking at how to safely scale AI across the business without losing visibility or control," said Sarita Dsouza, IAM Leader, Cytiva, a Danaher company.

"The challenge is that AI agents and non-human identities don't fit neatly into legacy identity processes. Saviynt is bringing the right pieces together - discovery, ownership, runtime controls, and governance - in a way that maps to how security teams actually need to manage this risk."

That reflects a wider industry concern over governance as companies experiment with generative AI and autonomous software agents in customer service, internal operations, software development and data analysis. In many cases, these systems need permissions to act on behalf of users or applications, creating new questions around access rights, monitoring and accountability.

Saviynt said Zuma Governance is designed to create stronger accountability standards for AI and non-human identities than for human identities. The platform can provide ownership records, policy controls, access reviews and audit evidence.

Nayyar said customers want operational controls, not just visibility into AI-related activity.

"Customers are telling us they need more than another dashboard," said Nayyar.

"They need a control plane that can help them see every AI and non-human identity, govern it with accountability, and protect the business in real time. That is the problem Zuma was built to solve."
