NCS unveils AI & digital resilience solutions with key partners
NCS has launched a suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital resilience solutions to support successful AI adoption across the APAC region. The announcement was made at the NCS annual Impact forum. CEO Ng Kuo Pin unveiled the frameworks, solutions, and accelerators designed for secure and scalable AI implementation to drive innovation.
During the event, NCS also announced new collaborations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Dell Technologies to facilitate AI adoption and enhance digital resilience. Additionally, NCS has created an AI-certified practitioner base of 3,000 specialists to accelerate the implementation and deployment of AI projects for their clients.
Ng Kuo Pin addressed over 1,000 leaders and technology practitioners at the forum, underscoring the importance of AI adoption and digital resilience. "Across the world, AI is top of mind now, but organisations must not overlook the importance of digital resilience as they embrace AI's transformational potential," Ng said. "To build a safer and more sustainable future, it is crucial that organisations invest to build a foundation in cybersecurity, data governance, and technology that will allow AI to flourish."
The newly launched AI-Digital Resilience (AI+DR) Matrix is one of the key components of NCS's suite of solutions. The framework categorises organisations into four quadrants — AI Dust, Missed Opportunity, House of Cards, and Game Changer — based on their maturity levels of AI adoption and digital resilience. This categorisation helps organisations assess their readiness and plan their developmental steps as they advance in their AI journey.
Ng stated, "AI will be a game changer, and companies must learn the new game—the earlier, the better. Given the speed at which AI evolves and its implications for businesses, working with the right technology partners to help navigate the AI landscape and plug into the right ecosystem is fundamental."
NCS has also introduced Polaris DR, a solution designed to assess digital resilience in five critical areas: cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure scalability, application robustness, and operational responsiveness. The solution aims to provide a customised improvement plan to address vulnerabilities in systems, technology infrastructure, and IT operations.
To support secure and efficient AI deployment, NCS announced five Industry Business Solutions (IBS) embedded with NCS AI Accelerators. These solutions are designed to enhance customer and citizen experience, workforce productivity, and software engineering while ensuring consistency and scalability.
NCS is partnering with AWS to launch its inaugural Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Public Good in the APAC region. This CoE will leverage AWS's team of strategists, applied scientists, engineers, and solutions architects to accelerate public sector solutions.
Elsie Tan, Country Manager, Worldwide Public Sector, Singapore, AWS, said, "We're excited to collaborate with NCS to establish its inaugural CoE for Public Good that will accelerate the delivery of innovative citizen services. At AWS, we help customers move Generative AI from theory into practice by providing purpose-built services and expert guidance."
NCS is also collaborating with Dell Technologies to use the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. This partnership aims to simplify AI adoption journeys and enhance proof-of-concept efforts by providing customised and pre-validated solutions for enterprises in the region. The collaboration will help clients expedite their Generative AI projects in a modular manner.
As part of its AI-driven initiatives, NCS is equipping its workforce across the APAC region with AI-powered services and solutions to enhance productivity. The company aims to create a 3,000-strong AI-certified practitioner base, with over 300 of these serving as AI experts to lead cutting-edge innovations.
