KeeperPAM tops SoftwareReviews privileged access report

Keeper Security said its KeeperPAM product ranked highest in a privileged access management comparison report from SoftwareReviews. The report was based on user-validated data gathered through Info-Tech Research Group's SoftwareReviews platform.

KeeperPAM led all evaluated vendors on several customer sentiment measures, including 93% for likelihood to recommend, 87% for fair cost-to-value and a net emotional footprint score of +89, according to the company. It also cited scores of 85% for ease of implementation and ease of IT administration, alongside an 81% satisfaction rating for usability and intuitiveness.

Privileged access management has become a more prominent part of cyber defence as companies try to control access to critical systems across cloud, hybrid and remote environments. The market has drawn greater scrutiny as identity-based attacks rise and businesses rely on more software to manage administrator accounts, credentials and privileged sessions.

SoftwareReviews' broader user data points to a gap between software renewal and customer advocacy. According to figures cited by Keeper, 92% of organisations renew existing software investments, but only 64% would recommend their providers.

That gap matters in a segment such as privileged access management, where products are often deeply embedded in security operations and infrastructure. Buyers tend to weigh usability, deployment effort and vendor support alongside technical controls because these systems can affect access across large parts of an organisation.

Market focus

The report places weight on customer satisfaction and vendor relationship metrics rather than testing products solely on technical specifications. Users scored Keeper strongly on service experience, product innovation and responsiveness, the company said, contributing to its top emotional footprint rating among the vendors assessed.

Deployment and administration also featured heavily in the published scores. In practice, those factors can determine whether a security team can roll out a privileged access management system quickly or whether implementation disrupts existing workflows and requires significant internal support.

Usability remains another differentiator in the sector. Security teams have long faced complaints that controls designed to reduce risk can create operational friction for employees and administrators, so software that is easier to navigate can help drive adoption.

Product scope

Keeper describes KeeperPAM as a cloud-native platform that combines enterprise password management, secrets management, privileged session management and endpoint privilege management in one product. According to the company, the platform also includes AI-based threat detection, real-time monitoring and automated credential rotation.

It added that the architecture is designed around least-privilege and just-in-time access principles. Those approaches aim to restrict users and systems to the minimum access needed and limit privileged access to the period when it is required.

Keeper has also tried to position its product around consolidation at a time when many corporate security stacks include multiple overlapping tools. In the PAM market, suppliers have increasingly argued that reducing the number of standalone products can lower administrative burden and improve oversight, though buyers still tend to compare specialist features closely.

Growth claims

Keeper also pointed to recent business momentum beyond the SoftwareReviews rankings. It said Gartner had named it the second fastest-growing cybersecurity software provider in the world, behind Google, and that its global revenue grew 53.42% year on year in 2025, compared with an overall market average of 15.50%.

Those growth figures come as identity security vendors seek to expand their role beyond password management into broader access governance for human and machine identities. The rise of automation and AI tools has added another layer to that contest, as companies try to track and secure new forms of privileged access across systems and applications.

Keeper said its wider identity security offering is used by millions of individuals and thousands of organisations. It also said its products are intended to govern access for humans, machines, non-human identities and AI agents.

The SoftwareReviews comparison adds a customer-led benchmark in a market where procurement teams often rely on peer feedback as much as analyst commentary when evaluating security software. Keeper's strongest reported score in the comparison was the 93% rating for likelihood to recommend.
