Kaspersky reports record revenue, USD $822m in 2024

Yesterday

Kaspersky reported an 11 percent year-on-year increase in sales for 2024, reaching record revenues of USD $822 million.

The company attributed the growth primarily to its B2B product portfolio, which saw a 19 percent increase in sales compared to the previous year. Both enterprise and small- and medium-sized business (SMB) segments achieved double-digit growth, with enterprise sales rising by 21 percent and SMB sales by 17 percent.

Growth in Kaspersky's B2B segment was driven by both endpoint solutions, which increased by 26 percent year-on-year, and non-endpoint solutions, which grew by 12 percent. Non-endpoint solutions represented 53 percent of B2B sales.

The firm introduced its new flagship product line, Kaspersky Next, during 2024. The portfolio combines endpoint protection with the features of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR), contributing to increased B2B ecosystem sales. Kaspersky Next XDR Expert, released for early adopters in 2023, delivered a 100 percent increase in sales in 2024.

Key solutions for defending against advanced attacks, such as the AI-powered SIEM Kaspersky Unified Monitoring and Analysis Platform and the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform, contributed to the company's results with year-on-year sales growth of 39 percent and 18 percent respectively. The SIEM platform received updated features in 2024 intended to improve cybersecurity teams' productivity by expanding threat detection and response capabilities.

Kaspersky's security services division also performed strongly. Kaspersky Incident Response sales rose by 20 percent year-on-year, while sales of SOC Consulting and Kaspersky Compromise Assessment services increased by 105 percent and 271 percent, respectively. Sales of the company's Managed Detection and Response solution rose by 18 percent year-on-year.

The company reported continued development of its technology portfolio, including the release of a new version of Kaspersky Thin Client and the launch of the Kaspersky Appicenter, a content distribution platform for devices using KasperskyOS. Sales of KasperskyOS-based products rose by 84 percent year-on-year.

In the B2C segment, Kaspersky reported varied performance across regions. Latin America grew by 6 percent year-on-year, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region grew by 20 percent, and Russia, Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) saw a 26 percent rise. Overall, B2C sales decreased by 2 percent year-on-year, which the company attributed to the impact of geopolitical factors.

Kaspersky continued to upgrade its consumer products, particularly on iOS and Android platforms, aiming to provide enhanced protection, privacy, and user experience. Kaspersky Standard, the main product for consumers, received AV-Comparatives' Top-Rated Product Award in 2024 following performance evaluations by independent analyst agencies.

Commenting on the results, Andrey Efremov, Chief Business Development Officer at Kaspersky, said: "Kaspersky's record-breaking revenue in 2024 is the strongest validation of our strategy — a clear signal that we have both the capability and the momentum to outperform the market and deliver on our long-term vision. This milestone fuels us to go further: extending our technological leadership and expertise, and innovating to be ahead of tomorrow's threats today. Our results reinforce our mission to deliver world-class protection, anticipate evolving attack vectors, and expand our portfolio to meet — and exceed — our customers' expectations."

The company reported that recently introduced products such as Kaspersky SD-WAN, for enabling secure and resilient networks across multiple locations, and Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security, designed to protect cloud-based environments, also contributed to its overall sales growth in 2024.

Kaspersky highlighted that it maintained its position as the most tested and most awarded cybersecurity firm during the year by continuing to submit its solutions for independent comparative assessments.

The company extended its network of partners, signing a cooperation agreement with AFRIPOL to facilitate collaboration and information sharing with the law enforcement agency. Kaspersky also progressed with its Global Transparency Initiative, which offers partners and customers the opportunity to review source code, threat detection rules, and antivirus builds. During 2024, the company opened new Transparency Centres in Turkey, South Korea, and Colombia and renewed its SOC 2 audit.

All reported financial figures and growth rates use constant 2024 USD exchange rates to provide a clear view of the company's performance unaffected by currency fluctuations. The total revenue figure of USD $822 million comprises consolidated revenue from all IT and cybersecurity-related business conducted by Kaspersky companies during 2024.
