Cyberhaven unveils unified AI-driven data security platform

Thu, 5th Feb 2026

Cyberhaven has launched a unified AI and data security platform and made its Data Security Posture Management product generally available.

The company said the platform brings together data security posture management, data loss prevention, insider risk management and AI security under a single architecture. Cyberhaven said the system covers endpoints, software-as-a-service applications, cloud environments, on-premises systems and AI workflows.

Cyberhaven positioned the release around changes in how organisations create and share information. The company said cloud applications, collaboration tools and generative AI have increased the spread of sensitive information across multiple locations and formats.

"AI has democratized intelligence, but it has also magnified data risk," said Nishant Doshi, CEO, Cyberhaven. "Because of fragmented data, security teams can no longer rely on point tools that see only part of the picture. As data moves in fragments, snippets, and derivatives that evade traditional controls like tags and labels, organizations need a solution that follows data wherever it lives and goes."

Coverage focus

Cyberhaven said its approach differs from data security posture management products that focus on cloud storage alone. It said its product tracks where data originates, how it moves and where it becomes exposed. The company also said it uses data lineage as a core element of the platform.

Cyberhaven described data lineage as a way to capture context across cloud applications, endpoints and on-premises systems. It said that context supports classification of data and reduces false positives. It also said the same context informs automation for detection, investigation and response.

Cyberhaven said it uses agentic AI as part of its platform. It said the AI uses the lineage context to identify risky data flows, investigate incidents and guide response actions. The company said these actions avoid disruption to users and business processes.

Customer comments

Cyberhaven included comments from security executives at customer organisations.

"Cyberhaven's vision for a unified data security platform is far superior to standalone DLP and DSPM tools," said Dan Walsh, Chief Information Security Officer, Datavant. "A single architecture makes it possible to continuously assess data risk without stitching together multiple systems. By bringing data lineage, AI-driven classification, and agentic AI controls together, Cyberhaven enables security teams to protect sensitive data without slowing the business down."

Cyberhaven also highlighted visual elements in the product experience. "What immediately struck me was the model for depicting classes or groups of data. Visually, the bubble chart... looked very similar to how I typically see data," said Raghu Valipireddy, SVP & Chief Information Security Officer, Axos Financial. "That familiarity made it easy for me to translate what I was looking at."

Services expansion

Alongside the product release, Cyberhaven introduced new customer experience offerings. These include Turnkey Services and an Insider Threat Intelligence Service. The company also said it expanded analyst services.

Cyberhaven said these offerings relate to deployment, programme maturity and emerging risks linked to insiders and AI use. The company did not disclose pricing or packaging details for the services or the platform.

Industry network

The company also referenced its participation in the AI & Data Security Collective. Cyberhaven described it as a community of security experts across multiple industries, including financial services and telecommunications.

Cyberhaven said members contribute to a playbook of best practices and focus on practical learning for security practitioners and emerging leaders. It did not name other members in the group.

Cyberhaven said its platform includes functions to discover and assess sensitive data across endpoints, SaaS, cloud and on-premises systems. It also described features for identifying redundant and over-shared data, setting guardrails for generative AI use, and improving investigations into insider activity. The company also said the platform supports real-time enforcement and user feedback for data loss prevention.

"Cyberhaven's platform is built on the foundation of deeper data context, complete data lineage across cloud, endpoint, and on-prem environments," said Prashant Jain, VP of Product Management & Product Marketing, Cyberhaven. "With a unified approach, Cyberhaven enables organizations to discover and assess sensitive data everywhere, minimize unnecessary exposure, adopt generative AI securely, reduce insider risk, and stop data loss in real time."

Cyberhaven said the unified platform is available now.
