CrowdStrike & CoreWeave unite to secure advanced AI cloud workloads

CrowdStrike has entered into a partnership with CoreWeave to provide security for complex AI computing workloads in cloud environments.

The new agreement brings together CrowdStrike's Falcon platform with CoreWeave's AI Cloud, which is built atop NVIDIA accelerated computing systems. This combination aims to deliver protection and performance for organisations developing, training and deploying artificial intelligence models.

Scope of partnership

As part of the collaboration, CoreWeave has chosen CrowdStrike to secure key AI workloads among its global customer base. The partnership also marks an extension of CrowdStrike's involvement with NVIDIA, aiming to offer comprehensive protection for always-on and continuously learning AI systems from the initial development stages through to deployment in active production environments.

CrowdStrike stated that its Falcon platform would operate within CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure, itself leveraging NVIDIA's AI capabilities, to ensure that security measures are embedded directly into the AI foundation, rather than being added after deployment.

CrowdStrike emphasises that its Falcon platform is designed to protect enterprise risks - including endpoints, cloud workloads, identity and data - by leveraging real-time indicators of attack, threat intelligence and telemetry analysis. This is matched with CoreWeave's cloud, which is architected for high-intensity workloads common in AI research, machine learning models, and broader enterprise deployments.

Both companies indicated that the partnership seeks to meet growing market requirements for robust cybersecurity in the development pipeline of artificial intelligence, as the scale and complexity of such deployments increase across multiple industries.
