X-PHY & Ensign forge partnership to boost global cyber resilience

Thu, 23rd Oct 2025

X-PHY and Ensign InfoSecurity have signed a strategic partnership to address cyber resilience across several major global regions.

The new agreement will focus on the combination of hardware-rooted cybersecurity technologies from X-PHY with Ensign InfoSecurity's expertise in integration and end-to-end cybersecurity services. The partnership targets Asia-Pacific, Japan, India, and Europe among its key regions, underscoring the parties' intention to broaden the global reach of their combined solutions.

Partnership details

The partnership brings together X-PHY's patented artificial intelligence-embedded hardware technologies, which include the X-PHY Cybersecure Solid State Drive and the Deepfake Detector, and Ensign's cybersecurity services. By combining their capabilities, the two organisations intend to provide organisations in critical sectors with comprehensive security covering both hardware and software layers.

The agreement outlines their intent to explore joint development and commercialisation of cybersecurity innovations. This collaboration is designed to deliver integrated solutions to clients with the aim of bridging the gap between device-level security and enterprise-wide defences.

The partnership was formalised with signatures from May Chng, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of X-PHY, and Simon Cheong, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales for International Business and Commercial at Ensign InfoSecurity. Their agreement was witnessed by Ted Tan, Board Advisor of the Flexxon Group, and Lim Minhan, Executive Vice President and Head of Consulting at Ensign InfoSecurity.

Market expansion

The parties intend for the collaboration to extend the reach of their existing and forthcoming innovations beyond Singapore. They highlight a focus on supporting efforts in cybersecurity modernisation in the Asia-Pacific region, Japan, India, and Europe. The partnership also reflects Singapore's continued emergence as a hub for cybersecurity research and export.

The agreement supports Singapore's strategic move to adopt a multi-layered cybersecurity approach, which is based on principles such as defence-in-depth and Zero Trust readiness, as detailed in the Cybersecurity Strategy 2021 and the Government Zero Trust Architecture.
