Verizon Business appoints new head of APAC cybersecurity
Verizon Business has named Mark Trumble as its new Head of Cybersecurity Sales for the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new role, Mark Trumble will lead a team of cybersecurity specialists focused on meeting the complex security needs of Verizon's enterprise and government clients within the region. This strategic appointment is supported by Verizon Business's extensive IP network and threat intelligence capabilities, providing a range of managed security services designed to help businesses and governments identify, defend, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats effectively.
Mark Trumble brings over 25 years of experience in areas such as go-to-market strategies, solution development, and partnerships within the cybersecurity domain. His professional history includes senior positions at organisations like NTT and Fujitsu, with his most recent role being at Infotrust, where he developed cybersecurity offerings for various industries. His experience in these roles has equipped him to handle diverse client needs and risk profiles.

Additionally, it operates an Advanced Security Operations Center in Canberra that monitors over 61 billion security events each year.
