Securonix has entered a managed security services partnership with GRAMAX Cybertech in India, covering cyber defence operations for critical and regulated industries.

The arrangement gives organisations access to detection, investigation and response services through GRAMAX's Integrated Cyber Defence Centre, using the Securonix Unified Defence SIEM platform. It includes end-to-end cybersecurity operations for several GMR Group assets, including Delhi International Airport, Hyderabad International Airport and other aviation, power and urban infrastructure.

The deal reflects rising demand from Indian organisations facing tighter compliance requirements and a growing volume of attacks on essential services. It also points to a broader push by operators of major infrastructure to outsource parts of their security operations while maintaining central visibility over threats and incident response.

Under the model outlined by the two companies, Securonix provides the central platform for threat detection, investigation and response, while GRAMAX handles managed cyber defence services and operational delivery. The partnership is intended to support customers that need round-the-clock monitoring and a more standardised approach to security operations.

GRAMAX already supports major infrastructure environments and has expanded beyond India into the UK and Singapore. The companies said those overseas customers are in maritime, fintech and aviation.

Critical assets

The inclusion of airport and other infrastructure assets highlights how cybersecurity providers are targeting sectors where disruption can have broader economic effects. Airports, power networks and urban infrastructure operators have become a particular focus for cyber defence spending because outages or intrusions can disrupt public services, supply chains and regulatory compliance at the same time.

The companies linked the partnership to a recent run of attacks on critical institutions in India, arguing that many organisations now need security operations that can scale more easily as alert volumes rise and compliance scrutiny intensifies.

"The recent cyberattacks on critical institutions in India are a clear signal that organizations need stronger, more accountable security operations," said Dipesh Kaura, Country Director, India & SAARC at Securonix.

"With GRAMAX, we are bringing together advanced detection and response, regional expertise, and an operating model built to reduce noise, improve speed, and help organizations demonstrate cyber resilience with measurable outcomes," Kaura said.

Securonix and GRAMAX said customers using the model have reported more than 60 per cent noise reduction, three times faster investigation times and a 40 per cent improvement in security operations centre response metrics. They presented those figures as evidence that the managed approach can reduce low-value alerts and help analysts reach incidents more quickly.

Service model

Managed security services have gained ground as companies struggle to recruit and retain specialist staff for in-house security operations centres. Providers have responded by packaging monitoring, alert triage, investigation and response support into subscription-based services, often focused on regulated sectors such as finance, transport, utilities and government-linked infrastructure.

For customers, one attraction is the ability to combine a technology platform with a local operating team familiar with regional compliance requirements and threat patterns. In India, where digital transformation has expanded the attack surface across public and private sector assets, that mix has become more prominent in cybersecurity buying decisions.

Bithal Bhardwaj, Chief Executive Officer of GRAMAX Cybertech, said the partnership was aimed at organisations seeking stronger protection for important systems and assets.

"GRAMAX is committed to delivering meaningful value to enterprises through intelligence-driven cyber defense," Bhardwaj said.

"Our partnership with Securonix strengthens our ability to help organizations protect critical assets, support compliance, and build resilience against an increasingly complex threat landscape," he said.

Securonix products will be offered through GRAMAX's managed security services model to customers across India. The structure is intended to give enterprises a single route to both the software platform and the operational security service wrapped around it.
