Raj Varaham named Gallagher Security's southern India manager
Gallagher Security India recently announced the appointment of Raj Varaham as its new Regional Sales Manager for the southern region. Stationed in Chennai, Varaham will be stepping into his new role, bringing a plethora of experience and an extensive skill set with him.
Varaham's academic background and industry experience are expected to serve him well in this position. A mechanical engineering graduate and an alumnus of the Executive General Management Program from IIM, Calcutta, Varaham brings more than seven years of industry knowledge with him. His experience spans across various sectors such as sales, business development, key account management, and channel management.
Prior to his new stint at Gallagher Security, Varaham was associated with Dormakaba, a leader in access control systems. This role armed him with significant industry insights and valuable experience that will aid him in contributing to the expansion and continued success of Gallagher Security in India.
Gautham N.V., the Head of Sales and Marketing for Gallagher Security in India, spoke highly about the new member in the team. Gautham also highlighted the organisation's focus areas moving forward. He mentioned that they are keen to actively expand the team across India, with a special emphasis on increasing and enabling their network of Channel Partners. They are also planning to concentrate on team growth and development, vertical-specific focus, business integration, and creating world-class partner experiences.
The team as a part of their strategy is delivering to key vertical markets such as aviation, government, corrections, data centres, and critical infrastructure. Currently, Gallagher Security secures more than 11,000 doors across India and protects over 200km of site perimeter for its 250 customers.
The appointment of Raj Varaham is viewed as a strategic one aimed at leveraging his versatile abilities and business acumen in order to grow and fortify the organisation's presence in the Indian market.
