Gallagher Security India expands team with new hires

Gallagher Security India has announced the expansion of its regional team with the appointment of two new managers.

The appointments come as the company grows its India team by four new members in 2024.

Deneshkumar V has been appointed as the General Manager for India and will be based in Chennai. Deneshkumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialisation in electronics and instrumentation. With over 22 years of experience in operations management, sales, and business development, he has previously worked at Magnetic FAAC and Schneider Electric. Deneshkumar's extensive industry knowledge is expected to aid in driving Gallagher's growth and development in the Indian market.

Joining Deneshkumar is Manav Kushwaha who has taken up the role of Regional Manager for the North, based in Ghaziabad. Manav has a Master's degree in Marketing and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Over the past 13 years, he has gained significant experience in sales and marketing from his roles at Optex Pinnacle, Methodex Systems, and Paramatrique Electronic Solutions. His expertise is anticipated to contribute to Gallagher's continued success across India.

R. Venkatesh, Gallagher Security Director for India, expressed his enthusiasm about the new hires. "We are thrilled to welcome Manav and Deneshkumar to the Gallagher India team, and we look forward to working with them both and achieving new milestones together," he said.

Venkatesh outlined the focus areas for the year, which include team growth and development, vertical-specific initiatives, business integration, and enhancing the partner experience. "We continue to actively grow our team across India, with an additional focus on increasing and enabling our network of Channel Partners," he noted. The team is currently concentrated on key vertical markets including aviation, government, corrections, data centres, and critical infrastructure.

The appointments of Manav and Deneshkumar build on earlier additions to the team. Earlier this year, Raj Varaham was appointed as Regional Sales Manager for the South, based in Chennai, and Aashish Garhwal was named Senior Sales Manager for India, based in New Delhi. These new hires bring the total number of new team members in India to four for the year 2024.

Gallagher's presence in India is both extensive and significant. The company secures over 11,000 doors across the country and protects more than 200km of site perimeters for its 250 customers.
