Exclusive Networks has been appointed a Global Distributor by Fortinet, extending a partnership that has operated in multiple countries for more than 20 years.

The appointment gives Exclusive Networks the right to fulfil multinational deals for Fortinet's global partners. It also formalises a broader international arrangement that grew out of the companies' existing relationship in the UK.

Under the new model, partners working with Fortinet on projects spanning several countries can use a single distribution relationship through Exclusive Networks instead of separate local arrangements. The aim is to reduce the operational complexity of cross-border procurement, logistics, support and services.

Exclusive Networks said its teams operate across more than 90 countries and focus on multinational transactions. It also highlighted round-the-clock support teams, authorised training operations, professional services and logistics as part of the structure behind the new agreement.

The move reflects a wider shift in how large customers buy and manage cybersecurity products. Many enterprise buyers now deploy systems across several markets at once, increasing demand for distribution and support models that can operate beyond national borders.

Global framework

For Fortinet, the appointment forms part of a new global framework for its channel ecosystem. The aim is to make it easier for partners to handle large projects for multinational customers through more consistent international support.

This may be particularly relevant for resellers and integrators that have traditionally had to navigate different commercial structures, service arrangements and fulfilment processes in each country where a customer operates. A single framework can simplify how deals are booked, delivered and supported, although execution will still depend on local market requirements and partner coordination.

Neil Brosnan, Vendor Alliances Director, Exclusive Networks UK, said the company saw the agreement as recognition of the local expertise built across its international business.

"This agreement marks another significant milestone in our partnership with Fortinet. People often assume global capability comes from size and scale. We believe it's much more than that. It comes from connection, expertise and knowledge. The strength of Exclusive Networks lies in the compound effect of its exceptional local teams, each bringing specialist expertise, trusted relationships, and deep market understanding. Together, this creates something far greater than the sum of its parts. Through our global partnership we're helping partners deliver multinational projects with the confidence that they'll receive the same high-quality support in every country they operate," said Brosnan.

Channel focus

Fortinet said the arrangement is designed to support its global partners as they work on deployments for customers with operations in multiple territories. That reflects the growing importance of distribution partners that can combine local presence with central oversight for channel programmes.

Thomas Desrues, SVP EMEA & APAC Channel Sales, Fortinet, said the company viewed the new structure as part of a broader effort to strengthen its partner ecosystem.

"The launch of Fortinet's new Global framework is an instrumental step towards strengthening our global ecosystem and enabling a seamless experience for our global partners, supporting the deployment of large projects for multinational customers. We are very excited to continue this global journey with Exclusive Networks as one of Fortinet's newly appointed Global Distribution partners," said Desrues.

Exclusive Networks has been expanding its profile as a specialist distributor focused on cybersecurity vendors and services rather than broad-based IT distribution. Its multinational support model has become a larger part of that positioning as customers and channel partners seek more consistent ways to manage international projects.

According to Exclusive Networks, partners using the model will have one commercial relationship, coordinated governance and a more consistent support structure across markets. That could help them focus on customer delivery rather than duplicating operational work in each territory, especially where procurement and implementation need to be aligned across regions.

Ali Nixon, Global Vendor Development Director, Exclusive Networks, said the Fortinet appointment reflected experience built over the course of the two companies' long relationship.

"The worldwide capabilities of Exclusive Networks gives our global client base the assurance that their multinational deals are in safe hands. From strategic relationships, world class support, and services to operational excellence; Global customers see us as the go to cybersecurity provider. We see this award as a recognition of the skills we have built over our 20-year partnership with Fortinet and look forward to accelerating global growth together," said Nixon.
