Inspira appoints Swetha Srivastava to lead global AI practice
Inspira Enterprise has named Swetha Srivastava as Practise Head for Data Analytics and AI, further highlighting its focus on expanding capabilities and diversity in the artificial intelligence sector. Based in Hyderabad, Srivastava will oversee the company's data analytics and AI strategy, solution development, and delivery for global clients.
Leadership appointment
Srivastava brings over 23 years of experience in IT across sectors such as life sciences, financial services, airlines, and eCommerce. She has spent more than a decade in delivery management for data analytics and AI, and has previously held senior roles at Capgemini, Accenture, and Infosys Technologies. Her tenure includes leading large-scale transformation projects and building technical expertise within these organisations.
Diversity focus
Industry data indicates that women constitute less than a quarter of the global AI workforce. In hiring Srivastava for this role, Inspira reiterates its intention to increase women's representation and leadership in technology. This move aligns with ongoing efforts across the sector to address gender disparity and enhance organisational inclusion at senior levels.
"We are delighted to welcome Swetha Srivastava to our leadership team at Inspira. As the data analytics and AI landscape evolves rapidly, Swetha's extensive experience will be invaluable in expanding our services globally and enhancing our offerings. Swetha's leadership will be crucial in defining a clear vision and roadmap for the practice, driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions," said Chetan Jain, Managing Director, Inspira Enterprise.
"Swetha's appointment is also a step toward strengthening women's representation in Cybersecurity and AI, the domains that need more diversity and inclusion," said Jain.
Strategic priorities
The appointment coincides with Inspira's continued expansion in data analytics, AI, and cybersecurity. The company delivers AI-driven cybersecurity services across a broad range of industries, supporting functions such as cybersecurity advisory, data privacy, threat management, and managed security operations. Its proprietary AI platform, iSMART2, supports real-time analytics and risk mitigation.
Srivastava is expected to accelerate technology adoption and support clients in data-driven transformation initiatives. Her experience in building technical teams and managing global delivery projects positions her to guide Inspira's AI offerings across a range of sectors, including banking, public sector, healthcare, and more.
Market context
Organisations worldwide are increasing investment in AI and advanced analytics, prompted by opportunities to automate processes, extract value from large datasets, and strengthen cybersecurity. Inspira's appointment of a new practice leader is part of an industry-wide trend to reinforce expertise and leadership as demand for these services grows.
"Inspira Enterprise is acknowledged as a trusted name in cybersecurity, data analytics and AI services, and I am excited to lead this dynamic practice at a time when AI is revolutionising industries and presenting unprecedented opportunities for innovation and growth.
